Daniel Wimmer

Daniel Wimmer is an experienced Anatomic, Clinical, and Dermatopathologist currently holding a position at Longview Regional Medical Center since February 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Dermatopathologist at Inform Diagnostics from July 2016 to February 2022, and completed an Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center from July 2015 to June 2016. Daniel's expertise in dermatopathology was further honed during a fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock from July 2014 to June 2015, following a residency at The Methodist Hospital System where Daniel was Chief Resident from 2013 to 2014. Additional experience includes participation in the Resident Forum at the College of American Pathologists and training as a Molecular Specialist at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Daniel holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from UNT Health Science Center, a Master’s in Molecular Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Zoology from Texas Tech University.
