Jill Lim is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, program evaluation, and outdoor recreation. Currently serving as a Social Media Moderator at Longwood Gardens since October 2022, Jill is responsible for overseeing social media engagement and utilizing Sprout Social for content management. As a Substitute Teacher for the Hawaii State Department of Education and previously for Kokua Education, Jill adeptly follows lesson plans and adapts to the dynamic needs of students. Jill holds extensive experience as a Program Evaluation Associate at Open Minds LLC, focusing on data collection and reporting for program improvements. Past roles include Urban Park Ranger at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, Education Coordinator for the National Audubon Society in Philadelphia, and various teaching positions at College Settlement and Elmwood Park Zoo. Jill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Management from The Pennsylvania State University.

In 1906, industrialist Pierre du Pont (1870-1954) purchased a small farm near Kennett Square, PA, to save a collection of historic trees from being sold for lumber. Throughout his life, Mr. du Pont indulged his passion for gardening, turning his farm into a magnificent horticultural showplace. Today, Longwood Gardens is one of the great gardens of the world, encompassing 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, meadows, fountains, a 10,010-pipe Aeolian organ and a 4-acre grand Conservatory. Longwood continues the mission set forth by Mr. du Pont to bring joy and inspiration to everyone through the beauty of nature, conservation, and learning. Longwood Gardens offers a breadth of mission programming that includes exhibitions, musical performances by top artists, renowned horticulture education programs, horticulture research, environmental stewardship and cultural and community engagement.
