Stephen Whittam

Stephen Whittam is an experienced Senior Performing Arts and Event Technician at Longwood Gardens since May 2013, where skills have been expanded across various technical areas. Simultaneously, Whittam serves as the Audio and Video Technical Director at Central Presbyterian Church, responsible for high-quality audio and visual production for worship and events. Additionally, Whittam works as a Live Sound/Video Engineer for congregation functions, ensuring optimal sound production. Involvement with IATSE Local 8 as a Stage Hand highlights versatility, with tasks in electrics and carpentry. Previous experience includes roles as an Audio Engineer/Lighting Technician for Cool Cats Productions, a Technology Specialist at Taylor’s Music Store, and an Art Director at Dimensionality Inc.
