Dr. Erica Brown-Meredith

Dr. Erica Brown-Meredith serves as the Director of the Student Success Program at Longwood University, focusing on initiatives to enhance undergraduate student retention and graduation rates through the Collaborating with Lancers for Academic Success Program (CLASP). In addition to this role, Dr. Brown-Meredith is an Associate Professor, advocating for diversity and inclusivity within the university environment, while preparing curriculum and mentoring students. Previous experience includes serving as a School Social Worker for Richmond Public Schools, where advocacy for student well-being was paramount, and as the Director of Community Living Programs at The Barry Robinson Center, overseeing program operations and staff management. Dr. Brown-Meredith holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Social Work from Norfolk State University.
