Andreas Bohrer

Andreas Bohrer serves as the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary for Lonza Group AG since March 2015, where responsibilities include acting as CHRO ad interim. Additionally, Andreas Bohrer is a Board Committee member for economiesuisse, Switzerland's top-level industry association, and has been involved since September 2021. As of May 2024, Andreas Bohrer holds a board membership with SwissHoldings, representing multinational companies within Switzerland, and also serves on the board for scienceindustries, which represents life science companies in Switzerland since July 2019. Previously, Andreas Bohrer accumulated extensive experience in senior legal roles at Novartis, UBS, Lenz & Staehelin, and Covington & Burling. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law, and advanced studies at prestigious institutions such as INSEAD, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Law School.
