Ewald Amherd

Ewald Amherd has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, primarily with Lonza. Since January 2007, Ewald has served in various leadership roles, including E2E Project Lead, Head of Quality, Head of Global Quality Performance Management, and Head of Quality Customer Engagement. Previous positions at Lonza include Head of Operations for Chemical and Microbial Operations and Head of a business team focused on Small Molecules Early Phase and High-Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (HPAPI). Ewald's career at Lonza began in 1996, with initial roles as Project Engineer and Production Chemist. Ewald earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zürich between 1992 and 1996.
