Jay Heise-Seabrook

Jay Heise-Seabrook is an experienced professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Tech Transfer Lead for Global Biologics Technology Operations at Lonza since January 2020. In this role, Jay provides technical support and leadership for complex network transfers, ensuring consistent practices across donor and recipient sites. Previously, Jay held multiple positions at Patheon, including Global Support Process Engineer for Downstream and Process Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing technology transfers and troubleshooting manufacturing processes. Earlier experience includes a tenure at The University of Queensland as a Downstream Processing Scientist and a Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, focusing on malaria vaccine development. Jay holds a Master of International Public Health and a Bachelor of Biotechnology with Honours in Microbial Biotechnology from The University of Queensland.
