Nicoleta Baumgaertner

Nicoleta Baumgaertner currently serves as VP & Head of HR for both the Biologics Division and the Capsules and Health Ingredients Division at Lonza, a role held since August 2021. Previously, Nicoleta was Global Head (VP) of Total Rewards at Novartis Pharmaceuticals from March 2014 to July 2021, overseeing the rewards strategy for the Pharma Division, which includes 30,000 employees and revenue of 24 billion. Other notable positions at Novartis included Head of HR for Global Supply Chain and NTO Strategy & OpEx, as well as Head of HR Global Functions for TechOps. Prior to Novartis, Nicoleta worked at Roche, AMD, Wells Fargo Financial, and Philip Morris in various compensation and benefits roles. Nicoleta holds a Master's degree in Economics from Academia de Studii Economice din București and attended Colegiul Al. I. Cuza.
