Rob Horton

Rob Horton has over two decades of experience in automation engineering and systems administration, currently serving as Associate Director of Automation Engineering at Lonza since August 2011. Previously, Rob held roles including Senior Systems Engineer and Sr. Systems Administrator at Liberty Mutual. Rob’s expertise encompasses designing and troubleshooting automation networks, implementing server and network monitoring solutions, and managing disaster recovery systems. Proficient in various technologies such as VMware, OSIsoft PI, Microsoft SQL Server, and HMI/SCADA systems, Rob has also developed scripts and provided technical support throughout career progression. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate of Science in Computer Technologies from New Hampshire Community Technical College.
