William Swankie

William Swankie, CIH, CSP, serves as the EHS Manager and Group Lead for EH&S at Lonza since January 2022, having previously advanced through roles including Senior EHS Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as an EHS Engineer/Industrial Hygienist at Intel Corporation from August 2017 to January 2022 and as an HSE Intern at JBT Foodtech from September 2015 to May 2017. William began a career in environmental health and safety at the Industrial Extension Service, where work as an Environmental Health and Safety Technician occurred from October 2013 to July 2015. William holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene from the University of South Florida (2015-2017), a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Technology and Management from North Carolina State University (2012-2014), and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from the College of The Albemarle (2009-2010).
