Sharon Burggy

Sharon Burggy has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as the Retail Operations Financial Controller at Lookers Motor Group Limited since September 2015. In this group role, Sharon leads Financial Controls Projects and the DMS Harmonisation Project, following a transition from Divisional Financial Controller for the Lookers Ford Division post-acquisition of Benfield Motor Group. Prior to joining Lookers, Sharon held several key financial roles at Benfield Motor Group from March 2001 to September 2015, including Group Financial Controller and Divisional Accountant. Sharon’s career began in 1986, with roles in various companies including D L Smith (Harrogate) Ltd and Bassadone Project Vehicles Ltd, where responsibilities ranged from setting up accounting systems to budget preparation and cash flow forecasting. Sharon holds a BTEC National Diploma with Distinction in Business & Finance from Airedale & Wharfedale College.
