Tim Lawrence

Tim Lawrence has extensive experience in academic administration, currently serving as the Dean of Academics and Curriculum and Director of Studies at The Loomis Chaffee School since July 1997. In this role, Tim Lawrence oversees the student academic experience, academic policy, and procedure, managing all aspects of the academic program and records with direct reports including the Associate Director of Studies, Registrar, and Director of Academic Support Services. Previously, Tim Lawrence held positions as the Associate Director of Studies and Associate Director of College Guidance, where responsibilities included guiding students through the college selection process. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Sarah Lawrence College, focusing on recruitment, evaluation, and retention of prospective students. Tim Lawrence holds a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford.
