Matthew Buxton

Matthew Buxton is an experienced finance professional with over two decades of expertise in relationship management within the investment management sector. Currently, Matthew serves as the Director of Public Fund Relationship Management at Loomis, Sayles & Company since November 2019, and previously held the position of Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager. Prior to this, Matthew was the Director of Relationship Management at Manulife Investment Management from June 2010 to November 2019, where a significant contribution was made in the start-up of the U.S. operation. From March 1999 to December 2009, Matthew was the VP, Client Service Manager at Putnam Investments, managing over forty institutional relationships across various regions, including Canada. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and attended Jacksonville University from 1995 to 1998, alongside education at North Middlesex Regional from 1990 to 1994.
