Senior Contract Software Engineer at Loomis Sayles

Ted Schwartz has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Ted started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at SoundBite Communications, Inc. in 2000 and worked there until 2003. After that, they joined WebCT as a Senior Developer for a brief period. In 2004, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Peppercoin, Inc. and stayed there until 2006. Ted then founded Apterra Technologies, LLC in 2006, where they served as the Founder and CTO. This company focused on providing real-time, remote data acquisition and monitoring solutions for the renewable energy industry. In 2007, Ted worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Bluenote Networks for six months before joining Reva Systems Corp as a Principal Software Engineer from October 2006 to September 2007. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Contract Software Engineer at both Beam Interactive and Relationship Marketing and Axeda Corporation. From there, Ted became a Senior Contract Software Engineer at Loomis, Sayles & Company in 2010. Most recently, in 2016, they founded SEAing Global Holdings LLC and served as the Founder and CTO. During this time, they managed the development of a mobile app for the recreational boating community that brought social networking tools to the users.

Ted Schwartz completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Oberlin College, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued further education at Yale University, obtaining a Master of Environmental Studies degree in Environmental Management from 1994 to 1996.
