Ari Summer has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Their most recent role is as the VP of Engineering at Loomly, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Engineering Lead at Loomly from May 2017 to June 2021.
Before joining Loomly, Ari worked at SnApp Real Estate as a Lead Software Engineer from November 2014 to April 2017. They were responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline for app development and publishing, as well as developing internal tools to increase efficiency.
As a Software Engineer/Independent Contractor at AdGenomics from April 2014 to November 2014, Ari built internal tools, developed a continuous integration/auto-deploy system, and designed an advertising platform.
In 2013, Ari worked as a Software Engineer/Independent Contractor at Forge Corporation, where they co-led the development of a Django application and led the design and development of a REST API and Backbone.js application.
Before their contracting roles, Ari gained experience as an Applications Engineer (Intern) at Arrow Electronics from May 2012 to January 2013, assisting clients with embedded systems designs.
In 2011, Ari served as the Senior Design Project Technical Coordinator at Hewlett-Packard, and earlier in their career, they worked as a Sales Clerk and Cashier at Zumiez and as a Golf and Snowboard Salesman at Colorado Ski and Golf.
Ari Summer completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012. They went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, first at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2012 to 2013, and then at the University of Southern California from 2013 to 2014.
