Hendrik Vermeulen

Hendrik Vermeulen is a experienced Mechanical Design Engineer currently working at Loop Earplugs since August 2023. Previously, Vermeulen served as a Product Developer at Shimano Europe Group, from March 2021 to August 2023, where significant contributions included leading engineering efforts for measurement tools in partnership with the UCI, ensuring bicycle compliance at prestigious events such as the Tour de France and World Championships, as well as developing and maintaining bike-fitting products. Prior to this role, Vermeulen worked as a Product Development Engineer at Herman Miller from June 2018 to February 2021, contributing to the award-winning Cosm task chair in collaboration with Studio 7.5. Vermeulen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin University, earned between 2014 and 2018.
