Matt McKinney

Matt McKinney has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Loop, a company focused on revolutionizing freight payments. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Platform Science. In 2019, they joined Uber as a Sr. Data Scientist and eventually became a Data Science Manager. Before that, they worked as a Founding Data Scientist & Engineer at MakerSights, where they contributed to the development of a product intelligence software platform. Earlier in their career, they served as a Data Analyst at Datalot, where they played a key role in building and maintaining the core data pipeline. In 2009, they founded 171 Design Group. Overall, Matt McKinney has a strong background in data science, engineering, and entrepreneurship.

Matt McKinney received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California. In 2016, they continued their education at Stanford University, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management Science & Engineering, completing their studies in 2017.
