Bhalchandra Bodas

Bhalchandra Bodas has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Bhalchandra currently serves as the Head of Commercial Insurance at Loop since July 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Aon Global Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. for 15 years, starting in February 2007. During their time at Aon, they held the position of Senior Vice President and was responsible for insurance consulting in commercial and corporate risk management. Bhalchandra was involved in various areas of insurance, including property, engineering, marine, liability, miscellaneous insurance, and employee benefits. Bhalchandra'sresponsibilities included new business development, local market planning, budgeting and forecasting, team management, training, design and implementation of insurance programs for global clients, risk and insurance portfolio analysis, claims process improvement, retention of existing business, renewal management, and liaising with local and international insurance markets. Prior to Aon, they worked at Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited as an Assistant Manager from August 2001 to January 2007 and at The New India Assurance Co. Ltd as an Administrative Officer from October 1987 to July 2001.

Bhalchandra Bodas earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accountancy from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Bhalchandra then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General, from the same university. Additionally, they obtained a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India degree in Marine Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India. Bhalchandra'seducation history spans from 1981 to 1991.
