James Duchenne

James Duchenne has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. James is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ducorp XTM, an investment company specializing in technology. James co-founded and serves as the CEO of Loot NFT, a research and technology company. Prior to these roles, James was a Director and Board Member at CERNOL, a specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor. James also co-owned Sutton Stone and served as a Non-Executive Director and Managing Partner. James has also worked as a Contract Lawyer at Rothmores Lawyers, where they focused on bitcoin and decentralized digital currencies. James has held advisory roles at Sheesha Finance, Blockchain & Climate Institute, Paperstreet, and Phi Gaming, LLC. Additionally, James co-founded Volt Markets, where they served as the Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing energy origination and trading utilizing blockchain technology.

James Duchenne completed their education at several institutions. James started their academic journey at the University of Cambridge from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained their High School Certificate. Following that, they attended the University of Sydney from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering with a focus on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering. James then pursued a Master of Law and Legal Practice in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at the University of Technology Sydney from 2002 to 2005. In 2004, they also completed a program in Applied Finance and Investments at FINSIA. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Bitcoin & Digital Currencies from the University of Nicosia starting in 2014, with no specified end year. Lastly, in 2011, James engaged in Carbon Accounting Accreditation studies at Swinburne University of Technology, although the completion status of this program is unknown.
