Matt Silva

Matt Silva has had a diverse range of work experiences. Matt started their career at ZUAR, Inc. in 2019 as a Python Developer, where they worked until October 2022. Matt then joined Dyspatch in September 2020 as a Junior Software Developer, before advancing to the role of Software Developer in July 2021. Most recently, in November 2022, they joined Diminish (formerly Loot) as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for building and owning large parts of the backend services and infrastructure, defining the engineering culture, and collaboratively building new products and features.

Matt Silva attended the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Production Engineering with a focus on Engineering/Industrial Management. Following this, they enrolled at Camosun College from 2018 to 2020, where they completed a degree in Information and Computer Systems, specializing in Computer Software.
