Miguel Correia has had a diverse range of roles throughout their career. Miguel started in 2010 as a Junior Account at Plater and then moved on to various positions at Gateleven from 2010 to 2018, including Sales Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Head of Sales. During their time at Gateleven, they were responsible for business strategy, tender processes, leasing management, risk analysis, international expansion, and business improvement.
In 2018, Miguel joined PLM as the Key Account & Business Development Manager, where they focused on managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities. Miguel later became the Division Project Head, overseeing various projects within the company.
In 2021, Miguel had roles at LOQR as an Engagement Manager and at SITIO.co as the Head of Business Development. At LOQR, they were responsible for managing client engagements, and at SITIO.co, they led business development efforts.
In addition to their professional experiences, Miguel is also a Co-Founder of The Ocean Week, a role they have held since 2016. Overall, Miguel's work experience demonstrates their expertise in sales management, business development, project management, and leadership.
Miguel Correia began their education in 2006 at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. However, they did not complete this degree, as they transitioned to a different institution in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, Miguel attended the Universidade do Algarve, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Management. Afterward, they continued their academic journey at the ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from 2011 to 2013.
