Lord of Life is a Lutheran Church that is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).  

What We Believe
To say you believe in something is to say you have faith in it. And to say you have faith in something is to say you trust in it. 

So when using the language of belief, we are careful with what we say.

In the Christian faith, you are asked to trust (to believe and have faith) in one thing: in the words of St. Paul, “Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).

So here at Lord of Life there is what we call The Simple Creed, grounded in the historic witness of the Christian Gospel found in the Scriptures, and in the historic Creeds of the Church, both the Apostolic and Nicene.

It goes like this:
The tomb is empty, Jesus is Lord, & all means all.
