Community Based Clinical Supervisor at Lorenz Clinic

Barbara has over twelve years of experience working with children and families in a treatment setting, including four years of post license experience. This work has included a range of service intensity and modalities including in-home, case management, day treatment, group, and center based outpatient individual and family therapy. This clinical work has included completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, SDQs, ECSII/CASII, and relevant documentation to determine treatment needs, maintain treatment, and for discharge planning. Barbara has worked with clients from infancy through adulthood including early intervention, DC 0-5 assessment, preschool day treatment, school aged and high school aged skills based therapy, and working with young adults and adults with developmental differences. She has provided support and guidance to parents through parent guidance and family therapy. She has implemented an array of treatment approaches including elements of attachment, behavioral, CBT, DBT, and ABA. She has provided clinical supervision and facilitated case consultations and has led preschool day treatment rooms including mentoring and supervising staff to support consistency of treatment for clients and to support growth of clinicians.

Barbara holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Augsburg College with a concentration in Multicultural Clinical Practice.
