Megan Fredrickson

Post-Master’s Fellow at Lorenz Clinic

Megan’s desire and passion for the mental health field started with wanting to answer the question, “why do people do the things they do”.

Megan holds an MA in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University. In addition, she completed a BA in Psychology from Argosy University in 2011, as well as an Associates of Arts in Psychology and Associates of Science in Elementary Education.

Megan’s primary clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families in day-treatment and working with individuals or in group therapy settings.

She has worked with a variety of mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood/behavioral disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, stress/trauma, attachment disorders, developmental delays, ASD, sleep and eating/elimination disorders. She’s also worked with LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

Megan uses the psychodynamic, psychoeducational, and humanistic method, where she approaches every client’s situation with an open-mind to best serve each client’s unique needs. Exploration, play, and humor are also methods Megan uses for building a therapeutic and trusting human connection necessary for client growth.
