Michelle Carey

Michelle Carey, MA, is a dedicated mental health professional with diverse experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a Post Masters Fellow at Lorenz Clinic since July 2023, Michelle previously worked as a Prelicensed Therapist at CARE Counseling and as a Mental Health Practitioner at Anchor Recovery. Additional experience includes a role as a Psychotherapy Intern at Life Essentials Psychology and significant work as a Targeted Mental Health Case Manager III, as well as a Behavioral Health Technician at Fraser. Michelle also served as a Care Coordinator at Plymouth Psych Group and as a Lead Teacher at New Horizon Academy, where curriculum development for young children was a primary responsibility. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler Graduate School.
