Roula Douglas

Roula Douglas is an experienced educator and journalist with a diverse background in academia and media. Currently serving as an instructor at both Saint Joseph University of Beirut and Lebanese University - Faculty of Information since September 2017 and September 2008 respectively, Roula also holds the position of Program Coordinator at Lebanese University. In the journalism field, Roula has been with L'Orient-Le Jour as a journalist and editor of L'Orient des Campus since January 2009 and has worked as a freelance writer since August 2004. Previously, Roula contributed to L'Hebdo Magazine as a journalist and was an instructor at the Commission scolaire de Montréal. Roula's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Sciences, Communication and Media, and Gender Studies from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, alongside multiple degrees in communication and journalism from prestigious institutions like American University of Beirut and Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
