Hamed Farid

Hamed Farid has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Hamed started their career in 2009 as a Neurointerventional Fellow at UCSF Medical Center. In 2011, they joined Neurovascular and Spine Associates as the CEO and President. Hamed also became the Medical Director of Neurointerventional Radiology at St. Joseph Health - St. Jude Medical Center in the same year. Additionally, in 2011, they started working at UC Irvine as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery. In 2014, they joined Los Alamitos Medical Center as the Medical Director of Neurointerventional Radiology.

Hamed Farid has a comprehensive education history that includes various degrees and fields of study. Hamed obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego from 1994 to 1998. Later, they attended UC San Diego School of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 1999 to 2003. Hamed then pursued further specialization in Diagnostic Radiology, completing a Residency at UC San Diego from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they undertook a Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship at UC San Diego from 2008 to 2009. Hamed further honed their skills by pursuing an Interventional Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco from 2009 to 2011. Finally, Hamed Farid attained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the UCLA Anderson School of Management between 2014 and 2016.
