Alex Stoica

Alex Stoica is an experienced project management professional currently serving as Project Manager and Superintendent for Capital Projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory since November 2020. Prior to this role, Alex held key positions at Schlumberger as Project Engineer and Accounts Manager from October 2005 to April 2020, overseeing customer accounts and managing project performance. Additional experience includes working as a Planning Engineer II at Southwest Gas Corporation and a Quality Control Chemist and Supervisor at API Group, where Alex implemented ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards. Alex began the career as a Distribution Engineer II at Distrigaz Sud Retele. Alex holds a Master of Science in Project Management from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ploiesti, Romania.
