Alexa Verardo

Alexa Verardo is a skilled graphic artist and visual designer with extensive experience, currently working at Los Alamos National Laboratory since June 2019. As a freelance designer and illustrator since August 2000, Alexa Verardo specializes in graphic design, illustration, logo and branding development, hand-lettered signage, window painting, packaging design, and creative visual problem solving. Prior experience includes a role as a store artist at Whole Foods Market, where Alexa Verardo created hand-lettered, illustrated chalkboard signage and managed digital and print media production. Previous positions also include graphic artist roles at JettWalker Graphic Design Studio and Century Sign Builders, where design work focused on signage and wayfinding systems. Alexa Verardo holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Apparel Design, Illustration & Production from Colorado State University, obtained in 1998.
