Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is a Post-Master's Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory since May 2023, focusing on supercomputer automation for multi-physics simulation codes. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Kansas, where research in machine learning and high-performance computing led to a published master's thesis. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Daniel facilitated lab sessions for programming courses and engaged with students through office hours. Previous internships at Paycom involved developing tools for documentation parsing and system health-check monitoring. Daniel also served as a Supplemental Instructor and Undergraduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Kansas, enhancing the learning experience in engineering courses. Daniel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.
