Kathleen Herrera McDonald is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in federal technology transfer and intellectual property management. Currently serving as the Business Development Program Manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory since February 2024, Kathleen also holds roles as Customer Success Manager and Founder at CloudArc and Founder of CloudArcT2 since January 2022. Kathleen specializes in devising strategies and building processes for technology transfer offices to enhance commercialization efforts, support industry collaborations, and connect investors with research capabilities. Previous experience at Los Alamos included leadership positions such as Division Leader of the Feynman Center, where management of the intellectual property portfolio was a key focus. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University.
