Martin Ma is a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory since January 2022, having previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Prior to this, Martin Ma worked as an NSERC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from 2020 to 2022 under Prof. Louis Durlofsky in the Smart Fields Consortium. Martin Ma also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in Prof. Juliana Leung's group at the University of Alberta from 2018 to 2019. Martin Ma earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta between 2013 and January 2018, a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from KAUST from 2011 to 2013, and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from China University of Petroleum from 2007 to 2011.
