Maxim Moraru

Maxim Moraru is a scientist currently employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory since October 2023. Prior to this position, Moraru worked as a research engineer at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne from July to October 2023 and completed a PhD in High Performance Computing at the same university from October 2019 to March 2023. Moraru has held various internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory, including a research internship focused on energy-efficient matrix multiplication on Nvidia GPUs in 2022 and another aimed at enhancing a reinforcement learning framework's performance in 2021. Additionally, Moraru interned at Atos to optimize MPI applications' energy consumption in 2019 and at Champagne Taittinger for software development in 2018. Moraru's educational background includes a Master's degree in High Performance Computing and dual Licenses in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
