Timothy Randles is an experienced professional in computational systems and software, currently serving as the HPC Platforms Design Team Lead and Scientist within the ASC Computational Systems and Software Environment Program at Los Alamos National Laboratory since March 2013. Previously, Timothy held the position of Computer Systems Engineer at the Maui High Performance Computing Center from April 2011 to February 2013. In addition, Timothy was the Assistant Director of Scientific Computing at The Ohio State University’s Department of Physics, where responsibilities included leading the design and maintenance of Linux clusters for research. Other significant roles include Senior Systems Consultant at The Ohio State University Medical Center and System Manager at The Ohio State University Department of Physics. Timothy's early career included coding for Sandstorm Productions, contributing to the creation of Mare Nostrum, a notable non-Source Engine mod. Timothy earned a BS in Physics from The Ohio State University, completing the degree between 1992 and 1997.
