Andrew Shulman

Andrew Shulman serves as Principal Cello for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and a Professor of Cello at the University of Southern California, roles held since 2008 and 2011, respectively. Additionally, Shulman is the Principal Guest Conductor of the Culver City Symphony Orchestra and the Owner of ATS Music Inc., which specializes in performing, recording, arranging, and composing. As a Solo Cellist for Motion Pictures, TV, and Sound Recording since August 2000, notable collaborations include work with renowned composers such as James Newton Howard and Alexandre Desplat. Previous positions include Principal Cello with the Aspen Festival Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Philharmonia Orchestra, along with a professorship at The Royal College of Music and recognition as an Exclusive Recording Artist with EMI Records Limited. Shulman holds an Honorary RCM degree in Cello and Composition from the Royal College of Music.
