Michelle Santizo is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience as a Registered Nurse focusing on oncology, homeless medicine, and community health advocacy. Currently serving as a Co-Host for The Coffee Club in Los Angeles, Michelle also contributes to UCLA Health as a HEM/ONC/BMT Registered Nurse and is a founding member of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) nursing governance. In addition to presenting at the Association for Leadership Science in Nursing conference, Michelle co-chairs the Structural Empowerment Council and actively supports marginalized communities through roles with Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, UNICEF USA, and the United Nations Association of the United States of America. Recognized for advocacy efforts, Michelle has also contributed to the California Nurses Association and served as a Health Policy & Advocacy Liaison for the Oncology Nursing Society. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing from UCLA and various nursing certifications from California State University institutions.
