Cristina Gomez

Cristina Gomez, RHIT, has a strong work history in health information management. Cristina started their career at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center as an HIM Technician and completed a professional practicum internship there. Afterwards, they joined Facey Medical Foundation as the Manager of Health Information Management Services, where they worked for over two decades. Cristina then transitioned to HIM Consulting Services as an HIM Consultant before joining the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. At the Department, they held various roles including Manager of HIM Management Services and currently serves as the Director of Health Information Management.

Cristina Gomez, RHIT, has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from Regis University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Health Information Management-Health Sciences, RHIT Program from ITT Technical Institute-Sylmar from 2010 to 2012. Cristina also holds the certification of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from AHIMA.
