Sylvia Martin

Sylvia Martin, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is an experienced healthcare executive with a distinguished career in nursing and hospital administration. Currently serving as System Chief Nursing Officer at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Sylvia has previously held the position of Hospital Administrator at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and Chief Nursing Officer and Associate Medical Group Administrator at Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group Physician Careers. In addition to these roles, Sylvia has contributed significantly to the nursing profession as President and Director of Membership Diversity and Inclusion for the Association of Radiologic and Imaging Nurses - ARIN International. Sylvia holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Healthcare Administration and Health Policy from Yale University, as well as a Master of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
