Steve Birdwell

Steve Birdwell is a seasoned finance and operations executive with extensive experience in diverse industries, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and VP of Administration at Fairplex since November 2022. At Fairplex, Steve is instrumental in modernizing key IT systems following post-Pandemic recovery efforts. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Desert Champions, managing significant sports and entertainment properties, including the BNP Paribas Open. Steve's previous experience includes founding and leading Incorporating Technology, Inc., a Sage Software partner, and serving as Senior Director at Vertex Computer Systems. Steve holds an MBA in Sports Entertainment Management from the University of North Texas and a BS in Business Administration - Financial Accounting from National University.
