Bahram Solhjou

Bahram Solhjou has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and electrical engineering. Bahram started their career as an Electrical Designer and Cost Estimator at Naghshe Jahan Pars Ltd from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they prepared electrical plans for commercial and industrial buildings, coordinated projects with various departments, and estimated costs. Bahram then worked as an Electrical Engineer at J K Electric Co from 2010 to 2012, where they supervised technician crews, prioritized work, and provided strategic planning for improved business performance.

In 2012, Bahram joined United Water as an Electrical Engineer, where they defined and implemented energy-related cost reduction plans, led working groups on power projects, and provided problem-solving expertise. Bahram then moved to California Water Service Company in 2013 as an Electrical Engineer, responsible for planning and costing projects, managing budgets and schedules, and preparing electrical drawings and specifications.

From 2017 to 2019, Bahram worked as a Project Manager at the City of Long Beach, where they directed and coordinated complex capital improvement projects, planned and implemented projects, and prepared budgets and schedules. In 2017, they also started working as a Part-Time Faculty at Long Beach City College.

Most recently, Bahram joined the Los Angeles County Internal Services Department in 2019 as a Principal Project Manager, where they supervise staff and oversees facility project management.

In terms of additional certifications, they hold a Professional Engineering (PE) certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, obtained in 2014, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in November 2018.
