Jeff Parong

Jeff Parong has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on credit unions. Jeff most recently served as the SVP and Chief Financial Officer at Los Angeles Federal Credit Union, where they oversaw the credit union scorecard program and assisted in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives. Prior to that, they held various roles at California Credit Union, Fiscal Credit Union, Edwards Federal Credit Union, and Harbor Area Postal Employees FCU, where they were responsible for managing financial risk, overseeing accounting and finance departments, and providing analytical reports on profitability and credit risk. Jeff also has experience as a Senior Auditor at Turner Warren Hwang & Conrad AC and as a Staff Auditor at RSM McGladrey. Throughout their career, they have been recognized for their ability to improve financial performance, establish compliance with GAAP, and lead various initiatives.

Jeff Parong attended Eagle Rock High School from 1985 to 1990 and obtained a high school diploma. Jeff then enrolled in Pasadena City College from 1994 to 1997, where they earned an Associate in Science degree in General Education. After that, they attended California State University, Northridge from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.
