Michelle Fausto

Senior Program Associate, Business Counselor at Los Angeles Food Policy Council

Michelle Fausto is a dedicated professional with a strong background in food policy and human services. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at the Los Angeles Food Policy Council since August 2022, Michelle supports the Healthy Neighborhood Market Network to empower small business owners in low-income areas. Previous experience includes roles as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow at both the American Public Human Services Association and the Congressional Hunger Center, where Michelle focused on hunger and poverty issues. Additional roles span various organizations, including the FRESH Basic Needs Hub, where Michelle promoted equitable access to basic needs, and advising students through the Early Academic Outreach Program at UCLA. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Labor Studies from UCLA and completed the Public Policy and International Affairs Junior Summer Institute at the University of California, Berkeley.
