Eric Smith

Eric Smith has extensive experience as a public address announcer in various sports venues and events. Currently serving as a public address announcer for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament since March 2025, Eric also fulfills this role for the LA Clippers and Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) since 2012 and 2019 respectively, with a past tenure at the Las Vegas Raiders from 2021 to 2024, and the Los Angeles Chargers from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Eric has provided public address services for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2002 to 2014 and has been an in-stadium announcer for USC Athletics since 2012. Beyond sports, Eric works as a freelance corporate event voice-over artist and host since 2013. In an academic capacity, Eric has taught Advanced Placement U.S. History, Philosophy, computers, History, and Government at Glendora High School since September 2002. Eric holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, both from Pepperdine University.
