Dr. Vanessa Brooks Dpt

Dr. Vanessa Brooks DPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS, NREMT is currently the Head Athletic Trainer and Senior Physical Therapist for the Los Angeles Lakers and serves on the NBA Emergency Preparedness Committee. With extensive experience in sports medicine, Dr. Brooks has previously held positions with the Oklahoma City Thunder as a Physical Therapist-Athletic Trainer, and a Sports Physical Therapy Fellow at Wake Forest University. Dr. Brooks has also contributed to research and development of emergency preparedness protocols for various leagues, coordinated medical care for professional athletes, and supervised medical staff across different settings. Educationally, Dr. Brooks holds a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University and has completed advanced fellowships and certifications in orthopedic manual therapy and sports physical therapy.
