Linda Rambis

Executive Director, Special Projects at Los Angeles Lakers

Linda Rambis has worked with the Los Angeles Lakers front office leading special projects since 1999. In this role she assisted the late Dr. Jerry Buss, and currently works directly with the Buss Family members. She is also the liaison with NBA Commissioner David Stern, as well as the NBA visiting team owners. Her husband is Lakers Senior Basketball Advisor Kurt Rambis.

In addition to her sports background, Rambis is producing entertainment projects through her collaboration with Lakers President Jeanie Buss. With a goal of developing projects that both entertain and inspire, the duo recently signed a deal with Showtime for a drama based on life behind-the-scenes of professional basketball team. Written by the celebrated sports film writer Ron Shelton, Rambis is a co-executive producer along with her partner Buss.

Linda Rambis began her sports career in 1980 as the General Manager of the Los Angeles Strings tennis organization. A graduate of Florida State University, she and her family are active in the beach volleyball community and they support animal rights charities. She grew up in Chicago, IL. Rambis lives in Manhattan Beach, California with her husband, Kurt and their 3 children. Rambis and her family are active in the beach volleyball community with his eldest son, Jesse Rambis playing professionally and his daughter, Ali on the Santa Clara University volleyball team. Jordan, the youngest son of Rambis currently resides in Los Angeles where he is active in the entertainment industry as a producer
