Miguel Medel

Miguel Medel is the current Controller at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG US from May 2003 to August 2007, where they held positions of Senior Audit Manager/Audit Manager/Supervising Senior Associate. In these roles, they were responsible for conducting financial statement audits, preparing financial statements, and managing the execution of engagements to ensure consistency with firm policy and quality standards. Miguel also supervised, trained and reviewed work performed by audit staff, served as a mentor to several senior staff, and participated in special projects as determined by firm Partners.

Miguel Medel received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University-San Bernardino with a concentration in Accounting. Miguel is certified by the California Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
