Mona Patel is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Board Member at the Advisory Board of the Lowell Milken Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofits at UCLA School of Law since March 2024, Patel has held significant roles including General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources at the Los Angeles Philharmonic since November 2012. Prior positions include General Counsel and Executive Vice President at The LIVESTRONG Foundation, and various leadership roles in organizations such as Athleta, Inc., Patagonia, Inc., and Burton Snowboards. An alumnus of Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctorate, Patel also holds dual MBA degrees from Columbia Business School and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Boston College.
