Alia Brown

Alia Brown is an experienced professional currently serving as a FUSE Corps Executive Fellow at the Los Angeles Public Library, where the focus is on advancing digital inclusion across underserved communities. Previous roles include Classes & Workshops Manager at General Assembly, where Alia successfully transitioned in-person classes to an online format, and managed programming for short-form classes. Alia co-founded Village Athlete, working to enhance the impact of professional athletes in their communities. Additional experience encompasses event production and partnership management across various sectors, including roles at the Museum of Latin American Art, Bank of America, and Merrill Lynch. Alia holds a B.A. in Information Management Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, and has undertaken further education at General Assembly.
