Vito Gonella has been working in the NFL for almost 20 years. Vito started as a scout for the NFL in 2001 and then became the assistant director of pro personnel for the Atlanta Falcons in 2002. In 2006, they left the Falcons to become the director of pro personnel for the Kansas City Chiefs. Vito held that position for seven years before becoming the general manager of the Cleveland Browns in 2013. Vito held that position for three years before returning to their current position as an area scout for the Los Angeles Rams in 2016.
