Dr. Anthony Culpepper

Dr. Anthony Culpepper, Ed.D, JD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various educational institutions and organizations. Dr. Anthony is currently serving as the President of Los Angeles Southwest College. Prior to this role, they served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Schools Regionalized Business Service Organization. Between 2016 and 2022, Dr. Culpepper held the position of Executive Vice President/COO at Glendale Community College. Dr. Anthony also served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Schools Regionalized Business Service Corporation. In addition to their work in the education sector, Dr. Culpepper has held various roles at institutions such as Bakersfield College, Ashford University, DeVry University, Trident University International, and Pepperdine University.

Dr. Anthony Culpepper has an extensive education history. Dr. Anthony earned a Juris Doctor Degree (JD) specializing in Law from the University of West Los Angeles in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University in 2005. In 1997, Culpepper received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Dr. Anthony also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration/Accounting from California State University-Dominguez Hills, which they completed in 1993. Additionally, Culpepper obtained an Associate's degree (AA) in Business/Accounting from Long Beach City College in 1990. Dr. Anthony'seducation also includes studies in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Los Angeles Southwest College.

Dr. Culpepper has acquired several certifications to complement their education. Dr. Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with expertise in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial statement analysis, auditing, business contract law, the public financial environment, capital structure, and valuation modeling. Dr. Anthony is also a Certified Financial Manager with expertise in production factors and costs, market structures and pricing, cost accounting, quantitative methods for decision analysis, investment decision analysis, and information systems. Additionally, Culpepper is a Certified Management Accountant with expertise in budgeting methodologies, operations goal planning and performance management analytics, forecasting, cost management, ratio metrics, corporate restructuring, and motivational theories. Dr. Anthony holds the Enrolled Agent certification, which signifies their expertise in taxation (federal and state) of various corporate models, tax planning, and tax form preparation and analysis.
